Wearable Art project. I made a jewel specially for Baqia. It symbolizes the motives of her attitude to live. Made from leather and wool. Text embroidered on the wool.

Nieuwe Verleden - 2011 Last picture - 2021

In 2014 I made a new Land Art in this beautiful natural garden. Spring 2018: Bifurcation is slowly absorbed into nature. Birds are using the material of the artwork for their nests. Beautiful process!

Is a project by Mariël Bisschops and Bertina Slettenhaar, Flevolands Vlijt in collaboration with Casla. Central to this project is the concept of SPACE. What space is it actually about? Where does it start or end? And what happens on the border? Part of this project is the movie "Give me Space". This film shows 'space'; in the small and therefore also in the large; surprising, imagining.
